Hi! My name is Chloe and I'm a Data Science and Business Administration double major. I was born in Colorado, but for most of my life I grew up in Manhattan Beach, California. Outside of ROHP, I was president of DiversaTech, a tech consulting club; and a member of Paws for Mental Health, a dog club on campus. I've also been a part of IM volleyball, Liberty in North Korea (awareness/fundraising), The Daily Californian (website marketing analytics), and The Interdisciplinary Research Group on Privacy at UC Berkeley. Hi everyone! Super excited to have you join us for an ROHP program and learn more about the amazing opportunities Cal offers. My name is Osbaldo Longoria Nava, I am a 3rd Year student studying Environmental Economics & Urban Studies. I was born and raised in Union City, CA (Bay Area). I enjoy going on hikes, listening to music on long drives and spending time with friends. In addition, I enjoy eating around at new places around the bay. I am a big Chipotle fan and am very passionate about the intersection between sustainability and business. I am also a first generation college student. I have lately become very interested in the tech industry and look forward to talking to y'all.

Shukri Suhir is a fourth-year undergraduate student studying Public Health and Data Science at UC Berkeley. As an Undergraduate Researcher with Dr. Coco Auersweld's Youth and Allies Against Homelessness Lab, he has studied the effect of COVID-19 on unhoused youth and more recently the impact of HHAP set-aside funding for youth homelessness in California. He is also an Outreach Coordinator for Suitcase Clinic, a student-run organization that offers free health and social services to underserved and unhoused populations in the city of Berkeley. Outside of campus, Shukri also works part-time as an Emergency Medical Technician in San Francisco. He is very passionate about increasing awareness of homelessness as a major Public Health issue and approaches research, healthcare, and advocacy through a lens of equity and social justice.

Hello everyone! My name is Aniruddh, and I'm a fourth-year, originally from San Diego. I am double majoring in Materials Science and EECS, with a minor in Energy Engineering. In addition to ROHP, I am the President on the MSE Student Association, and I serve as the Head TA for EECS 16A (Circuits/Linear Algebra). In my time at Cal, I've done research in computational materials science, and am now working on an MRI-related project. In my free time (what little of it I have), I like to workshop/redesign my very colorful four year plan, learn new languages (currently working on Korean), and take naps. ROHP was one of the main reasons I decided to come to Cal, and I'd love to talk to you more about my experience at this amazing school! Go Bears!

Hi I'm Sam! I was born and raised in Fresno, CA. I am passionate about social justice and outside of ROHP I am a part of BEACN and LBSA. I love all kinds of music from Lana del Rey to Hatsune Miku. When i'm not in class or getting boba you can find me working out at RSF or playing DDR. Being at Berkeley has been a really fun experience and there is so much to explore in the Bay. GO BEARS :)

Hi! I'm Shereen and I'm a third year from Orange County majoring in Nuclear Engineering and minoring in Bioengineering. Outside of ROHP, I am also the Secretary of the American Nuclear Society on campus and am one of the two Undergraduate Study Committee student representatives for the College of Engineering. In addition, I am currently an undergraduate research assistant in the Hong Lab at UCSF, where I help perform clinical informatic research in radiation oncology. In my free time, I like to go on boba runs, listen to music, and go to Emeryville with friends! hi!!! i’m michael!! i’m a third year double majoring in sociology and media studies (with a focus in media law and policy). i’m from visalia, california in the central valley *cue thousands of cows mooing because there’s farms everywhere,” im a gemini (and an only child so i’ve got a lot working against me), and i would describe myself as an avid coffee drinker but realistically i’m just a girl who can’t leave her house without at least two bevs in her arms. outside of rohp you can find me at the barn riding horses with the cal equestrian team, working at lululemon, hanging out with my siamese kitty jim, sitting in my car, frolicking around the bay area, working out, or just existing and soaking up my last two years at cal.

Hi! My name is Richard and I’m a second-year studying Computer Science. I was born and raised in Oakland, CA. Alongside ROHP, I’m passionate about teaching lower-division computer science at Berkeley in addition to developing software for UC Berkeley’s Basic Needs Center and ASUC Office of the CTO’s Berkeley Mobile app. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music (hip hop, bedroom pop, indie), getting boba, trying new restaurants, and exploring new places. I’m Michael!! I decided to major in sociology after attending a rehabilitation center, for 60 days over the summer of 2022, where I realized my passion for trying to understand people. If you have any questions about mental health resources at Cal please reach out to me. I am very open about my time in rehab as well so if this is something you’re curious to hear more about, please don’t hesitate! I am a member of the Cal Equestrian team and work at Lululemon, both of which I truly love! I hope to become a human rights lawyer one day and am passionate about protecting people, animals, and the planet :)

Hey Everyone! My name is Kailen and I am a third year undergraduate student studying political science and economics, with a minor in public policy. I’m originally from the east coast and have moved around the quintessential New York cities – Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Washington Heights, all before settling in Berkeley. I spend most of his time serving as one of the Senators at the Associated Students of the University of California (ASUC), or UC Berkeley’s student government. In Berkeley outside of politics, although I’m never really ‘outside’ of it, I volunteer by fundraising and building homes for Cal Habitat for Humanity, an affordable housing organization aimed at ‘building homes, communities, and hope.’ Further outside of my extracurriculars and academic obligations, you might find me on the courts playing tennis, taking a bike ride with friends to the Berkeley marina, or spending too much money on Chipotle. Hey there, It's Ganesh, a first-year, first-gen student studying Data Science. I was born in Nepal but raised in Richmond, and I've always loved the Bay area and its diversity. I'm a Navcal Scholar, and supporting first-generation students is incredibly important to me. On campus, I'm an active member of the Nepalese Student Association and Political CS Club, where I get to explore my interests and have meaningful discussions . When I'm not studying or working on projects, you can find me on the court playing either badminton or basketball. Sunsets have a special place in my heart, and I love taking scenic drives/hikes to catch the best views. Lastly, I love to dabble in some conversation while making food together! Hi everyone! My name is Joshua Paul and I’m a current undergraduate in the UC Berkeley College of Engineering. Aside from my studies I’m involved in a tech consulting club on campus called Diversatech and I additionally hold a research position in the Bronwyn Lucas lab for computational biology. I’m also a very active member of campus affinity groups such as BESSA (black engineering and science student association) and BRRC (black recruitment and retention center). Hi I'm Emerson! I am a freshman currently studying Urban Studies within the College of Environmental Design here at Berkeley. I was born and raised in San Pedro, CA. I compete on the Cal Sailing Team and am really excited about continuing my competitive sailing journey here at Cal. I am very passionate about urban design, city planning, and working towards a more equitable and sustainable future for those fields. Hi, it's Vivian! I'm a second year studying Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. I was born in New York and lived in China before settling in San Diego, California. On campus, I'm part of Computer Science Mentors, HKN, 16A course staff, and of course our amazing ROHP. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, window-shopping with friends, eating mala hot pot, binging dramas, reading magical realism, playing cards, and drinking copious amounts of matcha. My name is Marisol, and I was born in Oaxaca, Mexico but raised in California. I love to sing, dance, scrapbook, travel, cook, and explore different locations. I am pursuing a major in Business Administration, and I value family, community, and growth. I'm obsessed with environmental things and nature and living in California (I'm originally from MD/DC as you'll find out after talking to me for 0.5 seconds), and I love exploring the Bay Area and studying in all of the libraries on campus.

I'm from Koreatown, LA, and I'm absolutely addicted to TikTok, K-Pop, Marvel, and Genshin Impact. In my freetime, I love to hang out with fellow ROHP members, perform with DeCadence (best acapella group on campus), go online shopping for clothes and makeup, and check out fun food spots and cafes!
